Is your beard looking kind of flat and boring? Do you want your beard looking like it has more volume?

....Then all you need is a pick and a few moments of your time. Feel free to read the tips below and watch the instructional video prepared by @bgg_beard_reviews at the end of this post.

Tip #1 PRE-COMB!

Pre-Comb your beard. By pre-combing your beard it will help with eliminating any tangles you have so you do not snag when using the pick.

Tip #2 UNDERNEATH & OUTWARD!

Do not put the pick in the beard from the top side of the beard to try to pick out. Pick was intended to be used from underneath outward.

Tip #3 REPEAT!

Take the pick by the handle with the tines pointing upward and go in under the beard and pull outward. You will keep repeating this process throughout the whole beard until you can tell your beard is not getting anymore volume (poofy). I would recommend you start slowly to ensure you do not accidentally hit a snag and pull out a hair or two prematurely. then you should be able to speed up some without any issues.

Tip #4 STYLE WITH HANDS!

Once you have poofed / teased out your beard as much as it will go, take your hands in a cupping motion, and from the top lightly bring your hands down the beard to style it some. You do not want to use a comb for this process because it could / will undo some of what you were trying to accomplish.
